Notes for commissions bookings for the Out to Swim Gala on Saturday the 12th of April 2025 in Birstol:
- THIS EVENT WILL NOT INCLUDE A GENERAL EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY GALLERY. TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED DURING THE GALA YOU WILL NEED TO BOOK A COMMISSION WITH THE PHOTOGRAPHER AS EXPLAINED BELOW.
- Commissions can be booked only for individual races and not relays
- The photographer strongly recommends to avoid commissions on 25 meter races as the opportunities for photography will be limited due to the short distance/duration of this type of race.
- All the commissions need to be booked before Thursday the 10th of April by midnight to ensure best conditions for photographing the swimmers.
This is to allow optimal conditions for the Photographer to capture images of a specific swimmer, with all the information at hand and enough time to prepare for best capturing the swimming action.
Note: all the start times for these commissions are indicative, please book according to the day and type of commission you are interested in.

Commission the Photographer to take pictures of a specific swimmer during their race (NOTE: RELAY EVENTS ARE NOT PHOTOGRAPHED ON COMMISSION).
Get 3 to 5 images downloads in full resolution post commission.
Booking additional events:
- £38 for 2nd race
- £30 for 3rd race and any additional ones after
Please liaise with the photographer via email to arrange additional commission(s).
Each additional race booked adds another 2 to 4 images to the download allocation post event.
Example: You booked your 1st event for the 100 freestyle heats. You can book a commission for another race in the final for an additional £38 fee, after contacting and confirming with the photographer that there is no overlapping bookings on that other event.
This second event commissioned gives you up to an additional 4 pictures to download.
You get a total of 2 events covered (the 1st race initially booked and the 2nd race booked in addition) and 5 to 9 images guaranteed.
Every additional event after that can be commissioned for £30 each upon confirmation with the photographer.
For 3 events the cost structure would be as follow: 45 + 38 + 30 = £113 (with an allocation of minimum 7 and up to 13 images to download from the commission gallery)
